THE FIRST TIME I WAS TAKEN INTO HEAVEN
23RD of September, 2019, 1:30am
I am always inspired of hearing the stories of those who have been to heaven so I thought I would share the first time I went. My experience was very short, but I want to share it, and I would love to hear of the similarities of your own experiences!
At first, I found myself in heaven, but the mere shock sent my soul back to my body. I knew that fear blocks people from ascending to heaven, so I shut my eyes again choosing to rest in Jesus, and I was back in heaven.
I found myself in a garden! All the plants were “living”. Not alive as in talking to me, but alive with the life of the Spirit, vibrating with energy and light. The colours were not flat, or 2D, as we see on earth, but bright and luminescent, similar to neon lights. The light was the life of all the things I saw and it was so beautiful! (John 8:12, Psalm 56:13).
I remember the sounds around me were not heard through “ears” but they were heard through my being. I had a body but it was made of light, not flesh. The sounds were a part of me and emanating from my being and all the other living things were sharing in oneness with the life of the sounds. They were not only heard, but were felt. The sounds were also very peaceful. On earth, I am often overstimulated by sound with small children constantly around me, so I usually opt for silence when I try to relax, but in heaven, it’s as if the music I was experiencing was equivalent to silence.
Another thing I noticed was that there were things within other things, as in each object was multi-dimensional. My attention was then drawn to the floor, and I realized I was standing on an eternal piece of artwork. I bent down on the floor to observe the artwork, which was extremely intricate in detail, and again it was not 2D, the artwork was multi-dimensional. At first you could look at one dimension of the artwork, but as you looked deeper into it, your sight went beyond the first dimension deeper into the artwork. This continued for a period where I just continued observing beyond and beyond. I was so consumed with the beauty of the artwork I was seeing that I began to worry that I would never be able to remember all these beautiful details to document when I returned to earth and unfortunately that fear once again popped me back into my body and that was the end of my first experience in heaven!
I don’t believe going to heaven is for an exclusive few as some believe, because the truth is that in Christ we are already seated in heaven! Ephesians 2:6 says, “And [God] raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. Those who desire to see it must first believe they are already there, and by faith, they will begin to see things they have not previously seen!
I hope this blesses you!
